Foamed extinguishing systems are preferred for extinguishing intensely flammable flammable chemical substances or fuel fires that cannot be extinguished with water. The fire extinguishing foam used as an extinguishing agent covers the burning surface and cuts off air contact with the fire. The three main components used in foam extinguishing systems are foam solution, water and air. The foam solution expands under pressure with the help of water and air and is discharged into the medium through nozzles. The foam used in foam extinguishing systems also creates a cooling effect.
